How to Order
Rhéo Thompson Candies provides three options for ordering:
- Online orders
- Fax orders
- Telephone orders
Online orders
The easiest and most convenient way to place an order is through our online store.
Categories
In order to help you find you are looking for quickly and easily, you can browse the online store according to three distinct sections:
- Chocolates and Candies
- Seasonal
- Special Occasions
In our Chocolates and Candies section, you'll find our selection of over 100 items categorized by product types. Whether you are looking for a delectable cream center or caramel chocolate or one of our sweet specialty items, you'll find it here.
The Seasonal section is organized by seasonal occasions such as Christmas, Mother's Day, Easter and Halloween. We provide gift packaging and gift ideas suitable for each occasion.
The Special Occasions section is organized by events such as birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and wedding showers. As with the Seasonal section, we provide gift packaging and gift ideas suitable to these events.
Product Search
Try using the product search box if you can't find what you're looking for by browsing. Simply type in your keywords, such as "dark chocolate" or "cashews" and hit the "find" button. The search results screen will display a list of relevant products.
Product Details
Selecting the link "More Details" or clicking on the thumbnail image of a product will take you to a full description of that product. The description will include relevant details such as the product description, price and shipping weight. The description page also includes a larger product image guaranteed to make your mouth water.
Add to Cart
Underneath all the thumbnail product images from the listings page, you'll see a button titled "Add-to-Cart." Selecting this button will add the product to your online shopping cart. You can change the amount that you wish to add to the cart from the Product Details page and the Shopping Cart page itself.
Shopping Cart
The shopping cart is a holding area for your products before you decide to "Check Out." You can change the product quantities on this page, remove items or continue shopping until you are ready to "Check Out."
The Shopping Cart also gives you a running total for your order. This running total does not include shipping fees and taxes. These can only be calculated after you "Check Out" and enter your location.
The Shopping Cart will remember what you've put in it even if you leave the site. Every time you return to the site, your items will still be there until you decide to "Check Out."
Checking Out
From the Shopping Cart, you have two options for placing your order. You can either select the "Check Out" link to begin an online order or you can select the "Fax Your Order" link and generate a form to fax or call in your order.
Selecting the "Check Out" link takes you to a form that asks for your billing and shipping information.
Billing and Shipping Information
You'll notice that there is a padlock image on the bottom right corner of your browser window. This indicates that you have a secure connection with our Web server and no one other than you can see information submitted to the form.
It is important that you fill in your all the required information otherwise we will be unable to place your order.
We offer the ability to have separate billing and shipping addresses in the event that you are placing an order for a gift for someone else. If the billing and shipping information is the same then leave the radio button setting on YES. If you select NO you will be directed to another form to enter the separate shipping information.
Delivery and Pick-Up
We offer the option to either have your order delivered or prepared in our store for pick-up. Pick-up orders from our store will not be assessed a delivery fee.
Order Review
When you are satisfied you have entered the correct information for "Billing and Shipping" select the "Continue" button to the bottom right.
You will now see a "Review" screen that lists your billing information, shipping information, list of ordered items, applicable taxes and delivery fees if applicable.
Please review this screen to make sure it is correct. If it is not correct, select the "Back" button at the top of your screen and make necessary changes. If the information is correct, please select the "Continue" button.
Order Confirmation
Congratulations, you have now successfully placed your order. The "Order Confirmation" screen shows the details of your order. Please print this screen for your own records. Please note that we do not display your credit card information for security reasons.
At this time, the items in your Shopping Cart have been removed. This will allow you to place new orders.
Repeat Order to New Address
The "Repeat Order to New Address" button allows you to send identical order items and quantities to a new shipping address. This is very helpful if you are sending repeat orders of multiple items to multiple recipients. You will be prompted to fill in each additional "Ship To" form. You can keep repeating your order items to as many shipping addresses you'd like. Each order will receive it's own PO number.
This is very popular for customers sending the same items as gifts to distant family members and as part of our corporate gifts program.
E-mail Notification
Shortly after you place your order you will receive an order confirmation via e-mail that lists the details of your order. As with the confirmation screen, we do not display your credit card information in this e-mail for security reasons. Save or print this e-mail for your own records.
The Option to Fax or Telephone your Order
Although our online store is far more convenient and highly secure, some people may wish to Fax or Telephone in their order. In order to make this process more convenient, we've automated the process for selecting products and calculating the total cost of the products. Use the online store the same way you would for placing an online order but select the "Fax Your Order" option from the "Shopping Cart" page instead of the "Check Out" link.
By selecting this link you will generate a Fax Order form. You need to print off this page and fill in all the required information. Please note that shipping and tax fees will have to be calculated by our retail staff. Also, please note that for telephone orders, our store hours are Monday to Saturday 9:00 a.m. till 5:30 p.m.
Please note that you can place an order through our online store 24-hours-per-day, 7-days-a-week.
If you place a fax or telephone order by using the shopping cart, you will need to manually remove the items from your shopping cart after you order.
