A Socially Distanced Scotch & Chocolate Pairing
When it comes to finding a pairing partner worthy of the ‘water of life,’ Scotch can only be matched by the complexities of the ‘food of the gods,’ chocolate. It is a heavenly pairing, and as all whisky lovers know, some of the best drams come from the blending of barrels.
Scotch and Chocolate… individually wonderful, brilliant when paired. Our special guest and Certified Whisky Sommelier, Steve Rae, has created a Scotch journey through Scotland touching the different regions and flavour profiles. Rhéo Thompson Candies’ chocolatier, Christine Chessell, has selected a variety of chocolates to complement the scotches. Or do the scotches complement the chocolates? Find out for yourself! Enjoy this wonderful combination of two passionate flavours!
To ensure everyone’s safety during Covid-19, we will be taking special precautions to ensure the health and well being of our participants and our team. These include reducing the event size by half (don’t worry, we are offering two dates so everyone can participate), limiting group sizes to 4 per table, staff will be masked during the event and we will be asking all participants to sanitize their hands when entering the event (yes, you will get to try the new Mint Smoothie® Hand Sanitizer).
In the course of a province mandated shutdown, we will of course refund any tickets purchased to the Socially Distanced Scotch & Chocolate pairing.
